The MISSION of the Houston Area Association for Imago Relationship Therapists is to promote the principles underlying Imago Relationship Therapy, specifically, that committed, conscious and loving relationships are essential for the development of a world in which adults and children are supported in achieving their full potential. The PURPOSE of HAAIRT is to support its members in developing their fullest potential as teachers and practitioners of Imago Therapy. HAAIRT will seek to develop means for the provision of services, including low fee educational and therapeutic services to those who wish to learn and use the principles and skills of Imago therapy.

Oprah Winfrey included “Imago Theory” in her list of “Unforgettable! Oprah’s Top 20 Shows” in a feature celebrating 20 years of the Oprah TV show. Oprah talked about her introduction to Imago through Harville Hendrix, and how it changed her view of relationships in the October ’05 issue of O Magazine.
